Web Development Services

Hi,
I have a question for you. I use your module and I must say, that it is much better than Language switcher block.
But my question: Is there possible to use aliases for links to node translations? Every page has own alias. For example on the page
http://web1.kybersoft.cz/en/contacts
There are two blocks in the right sidebar. The first is standard switcher and the second is your. I want to use the same links like in the standard switcher. Is it possible? Thank you for your time.
Vit Hovezak.

Since there are such a wide range of options I cannot state a full price quote without knowing your specific needs.

Why are Drupal coding standards important?

It took me a while to realize how important Drupal coding standards are. Back when I first started programming I considered the code I wrote to be satisfactory as long as it got the job done. Since then however, thanks to one Drupal developer who put in me in my place I have come to see the light.

Drupal programming is a very particular specialization. Learning the Drupal api is almost like learning a whole new programming language. You wouldn’t want to throw even an experienced PHP developer into a Drupal module development without some intensive preparation.

Though I won’t claim to no every nook and cranny of the Drupal api, I will say that I am comfortable with it and know how to get the job done the "Drupal way".

I offer the service of converting existing html sites into Drupal. I’ve done it several times and I know what it can involve.

Pricing

Pricing depends on the size of the site, the type of content that needs to be converted, and whether the client is willing to copy and paste some of the content themselves or if they would rather me do all of it.

Once given the information regarding the site I will determine if I will offer a fixed price bid or an hourly estimate. Hourly estimates are more common in situations where the time required may be difficult to determine.

In addition to producing custom themes from scratch I also offer the service of converting graphic files from Photoshop (PSD) or Fireworks (PNG) into Drupal themes. Though this may seem like an easy task upfront, sometimes it really isn’t. If your designer already knows a thing or two about Drupal it will make things easier since there are certain aspects of Drupal which favor some design principles over others.

The cost of a PSD to Drupal theme conversion depends on several factors:

I came into the world of Drupal as a designer, and theming has always been my main specialty. I came onto Drupal in the early Days of Drupal 5 and spent hundreds, maybe even thousands of hours learning to master its theme system. Drupal 6 is my preferred version to use with sites, but I have no problem producing code for Drupal five.

If given the basic idea of a website I can come up with a look that matches the content fairly quickly or if you already have your own ideas I can make your site look however you want it to.

For most layouts there are two stages. Make it work for standards based browsers such as Firefox, then make it work for that pesky IE. Ignore the second step and as much as half your site visitors may not see what you want them to see.

Best practices are not necessarily required in order to validate a page as standards compliant, however they just as important (and in some cases even more important).

A short list of best practices for layout that all web designers worth their salt strive to adhere to:
